All 9 entrants had just started their rounds when the first rumble of thunder was heard and everyone immediately headed back to the car park.

Sadly, with no sign of the stormy weather subsiding, the decision was made to abandon play for the day.

There will be plenty more chances to play in this ongoing challenge, every Saturday and Sunday until mid-October.
